How can I open a AVI video that I want to split, cut or trim?
There are three ways to open a video:
1. Click on "Open" button in the top toolbar.
2. Drag files you want to split in Windows Explorer dialog, move the mouse cursor to the program interface and drop them.
3. In Windows Explorer dialog, right click on a AVI video that you want to split, click on "Split AVI Videos..." in the pop-up menu and Agile AVI Video Splitter will be launched with the selected video open.

How to specify the output range of a video?
Firstly, use the "Play", "Pause", "Stop" buttons in the left-bottom of the interface to preview the AVI video. You can drag the slide button to switch to the time point you need quickly. Then click on "Set the Start Time" button and "Set the End Time" button to mark the output range. Addtional, you also can use the edit dialogs in the right of the interface to enter the Start Time and End Time manually. Please ensure the format of the time you enter is "Hour:Minute:Second.Millisecond".

I would like to change some settings. Where can I find them?
Click on the "Settings" button in the top toolbar. The Setting Dialog will pops up. Note, the "Setting button" in not available when splitting is processing.

Where can I find the output files after the conversion?
The output folder will be open automatically after splitting if the "Open the output directory when the task is completed." option in Settings Dialog is checked.

Is it possible for me to split a video to several parts at a time?
Surely it is. There is Split Mode 2 designed for that assignment. Firstly, specify the output range by setting the Start Time and End Time. Secondly, make "Split the marked range to..." dialog checked, and enter the quantity of output parts. Click on "Start" button finally.

The length of some videos is very long, is the program able to exit or turn off my computer automatically after splitting?
Yes. Make the "Exit the program when the task is completed." option checked in the "General" page of Setting Dialog, our software will close itself after splitting is completed. In the same way, if the "Turn off the computer when the task is completed." option is checked, our software will turn off your computer automatically. This function is very useful when you try to split a long range from the movie, for you can go to sleep when the splitting is processing.
